We explore and document the diverse musical traditions of Bengal, including folk, Baul, mystic, spiritual, and regional forms of music. Songs, melodies, performance practices, oral traditions, and the people and places connected to them form an important part of our work.

A song is more than its melody and words; it also carries the memory of a community, a landscape, a language, and a way of understanding the world.
