We document and engage with traditional skills involving wood, bamboo, gourds, clay, leather, natural fibres, and other materials. The knowledge of how a craftsperson observes, selects, prepares, shapes, joins, and transforms a material is itself a form of cultural heritage.

We therefore value the process of making as much as the finished object.
